This is a continuation from last week, still from War’s End. End of the war, maybe, but not of the complications it has caused! Coralie is able to hear the others who were with her on the ship, but the jungle is too dense for her to see them, or even to be sure of the direction of their voices.
Kelty sounded disgusted. “I’m hung up in a tree.”
If Kelty couldn’t move from wherever he was, they’d better try to find him. “Bounce,” Coralie said, “find Kelty.”She held the image of Kelty in her mind as she spoke, hoping the dog wold be able to lead her to the pilot.
The little dog turned in place, nose high.

No time to check other participants today, but I’ll get to them.
Bounce will sniff out the truth! I would not want to be lost in a jungle without a smart dog. Nice.
She’s an important character. Probably midweek before I get around to checking.
Clever dog! Very useful to have around in a tight spot. Great six.
She’s still hardly more than a puppy, but she’s going to be very helpful.
I love the name bounce for a dog. Enjoyed your six SueAnn 🙂
Thanks, I’ll be slow getting around this week; I’m on my laptop at a family reunion in
Colorado and jst finished burning 23 CD’s of the family genealogy..
Bounce is a clever name for a dog, I can imagine him clearly!!! happy Sunday!
Her. More next week.
Ooh useful pooch. Under those circumstances mine used to just leap about licking people. Great six.
Sounds like Bounce is the dog for the job! Great six =)
Pocket herders are special.
Interesting snippet. Enjoyed it.
Glad you liked it.
I enjoy the dog, like the way your main character interacts with Bounce, hope they can find Kelty! I’m all involved LOL – terrific excerpt!
“Trust your dog” is a basic in the culture Coralie comes from.
